On Friday, we ordered 2 pairs of BR jeans for Brendan, one dark and one that is a little lighter. His are falling apart, and he's lost enough weight now that he's back down to a 44. I wanted to post them here for some guidance. I think these are light years better than what he was wearing before. The darker wash helps. They are also bootcut, where his previous jeans have always been straight leg. I know bootcuts are very flattering for women, is that true for men as well? If I had to guess his body type, I'd say it's straight, but he carries his weight on his bum and tummy. Was that Shiny's "hockey player" body type?

They are also a bit too long. What is the proper length to hem pants for a man? Is it the same as a woman (to the floor)? I took some pictures with the legs rolled up to show where I think they should be hemmed to. Please let me know if this is not right, though!
