You look great with a belt. This must be your new hourglass figure speaking to you. You should defantely go and buy a collection of belts to play with in styling your outfits. I just bought 4 today and I can't tell you how excited I am about playing around with my wardrobe. This is what makes it fun. I had no idea what I was missing all these years. I always had the attitude that I would not spend money on accessories. I was missing so much.
I also bought some necklaces and a bracelet and a new scarf. All of these things were on sale at Nordstroms. They are moving out the last of summer items to make room for the new cool weather clothes.

LOVE you in the woven tops and a belt! This is definitely a look that will work for you with your new shape -- and you will be able to get more mileage out of it longer because you can cinch the belt the more you keep losing.

Everything is a keeper: the teal top, the pattern one, the cord tunic (that is SO YOU), and while I can't see the pattern of the scarf well, it's probably great. The only thing I would caution is buying a wool coat this soon in the season; you are losing inches very fast right now, and it likely will not fit when it's time to wear it. Buy that when it actually gets cold -- it will probably be on sale by then anyway! I learned that the hard way with suits. :)

I'm a little annoyed with Old Navy right now. I came home to find that the tops that I bought were all on sale online- for quite a bit cheaper than I paid. I emailed customer service to ask if they coudl do a pprice adjustment. I at least expected them to tell me to order it online, and comp me the shipping. They did nothing, although they do offer price adjustjments in store if it goes on sale int he store.
Anyway....
That belt is about 2 sizes too big. I have just been making more and more holes (and cutting off the end), but even the last hole is too big. It's suede and it tends to fold over and get floppy and generally annoys me. It's wider than what I would like, too.

The coat: There's plenty of room for layers underneath. Yes, the sleeves are long- and yes, this is common for me. I'm kind of torn on it right now. The price was right, but the sleeves need to be altered. I know that it will be three months until I could actually wear this, but I think that it will be ok still. I have a parka from last winter that I will probably still be able to wear this year.
It wasn't me that said I didn't like tunics- I love tunics!

I love the belt with top #1--really looks great on you. I've had my eye on that top for awhile now too--waiting for it to go on sale. (I have a hard time justifying paying full price for anything now that I'm a SAHM.) Love the tunic on you too!

FYI--those gauze tops were on clearance at my local ON and they're having a 50% off clearance sale now too. I think it goes through Wednesday. You might nip back there and see about that price adjustment. I bought the same gauze top and paid $8 and change.
