After rambling about it on someone else's thread (I think it was Lyn's), I decided to order this bag. I'd been looking around for a while for a neutral warm-weather bag, but couldn't find anything I liked and kept coming back to various non-neutral and above-my-price-range Marc Jacobs bags. But, between sale, a gift card, and Nordstrom Notes, I was able to get this one for around half-price, putting it just within the range of justifiability.

I love the shape and size, especially since it's really hard for me to find bags that work both practically and with my proportions, which can get overwhelmed by the kind of huge slouchy bags I kind of want for practicality. I'd also been thinking about a cobalt version of this one, but felt like the Too Hot to Handle looked a little more polished. I'd actually merged them in my mind and was remembering this one as more of a bright cobalt, too, but it's really more of an indigo. Which I think I like even better because it's bright enough to hold its own, but just toned down and darkened enough to work almost as a pseudo-neutral.

So the TL;DR here is basically "Hey, look at my nice new bag!"
