The color looks beautiful, but I think I have a slight preference for darker color, maybe it's just the contrast that I am used to in your pictures. But I am envious that you can vary the color so much. How dark is your natural hair, Sarah?

That cut is simply STUNNING. LOVE it on you, and LOVE how it frames your lovely face and dimples. So, so, SO pretty.

The color is also nice, but having done many shades of blond myself over the years, I suspect you will end up wanting to either go all-over lighter or with more highlights and lowlights sprinkled throughout. But give it some time before you decide, too; it may turn out to be the perfect shade once you get used to it!

Kristen, I definitely want to go lighter, but need to do it gradually to preserve my healthy hair. I will add lighter highlights over my next two visits. By then it will be fall and I'll probably go darker again. ;)
I love having fun with my hair, and I'm enjoying having a 'style cut' again.
GG, I didn't have it chemically straightened, it's just straightened with the brush and hairdryer. I will style it like this AND do it wavy/curly.

One word: gorgeous!

My hair is slightly angled to the front, but not too severe. My hair is also layered to avoid the rigid tight style of a typical bob.

marianne, my natural color is quite sad. It's a mousy, lifeless medium brown color. It almost looks like it has some charcoal undertones. I've colored or highlighted my hair for the past 8 years. Maybe my ability to wear various colors is my reward for such a sad natural color. ;)

Maya, I plan on wearing it naturally and straight.

Thanks! Joy, I'm actually using more bronzes, golds, and browns in my eye makeup. I still do use my eggplant now and again, though. So typically a more bronzy look than before. It seems like I can also get away with less? Could be because my look is more low contrast than before?
Clothing choices...they haven't changed too much. I'm not liking as much black right now, but I have a feeling that when I go in for my next appointment (adding super light blond highlights) that I'll like it better again. I noticed while shopping the other day that I was gravitating towards more almost boho looks. Not too earthy, but longer tunics with jeans (something I've never ever tried before!), low back dresses and tops (again, something I've never done), etc. I actually purchased a few things after my haircut with the new style in mind. I'll post pictures soon. :)
