You look beautiful with bangs! Great hair!

Well I am feeling pretty happy with my new hair do. Thanks everyone! I am keeping the bangs for sure. No more debating about growing them out.

It suits you very well!

I love your new do! Enjoy your time in Montreal! I've been there once and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I'm encouraging my DS to do his semester abroad there. It sounds strange that it would be a choice, because it's not very far from home, and not even what I would consider abroad although it is Canada and we are in the USA., He has two foreign campuses to chose from in his program, and I believe Montreal would be the best because there are a lot of potential companies in his field for internships.

Thank you Staysfit. We love Montreal. We often talk of moving there. Such an interesting city.

Very nice, I like the layers.

That's a great cut! I like bangs too. Mine are fully grown out for the first time since middle school (!). Now that I've played with that for a few months, I think I'm ready to go back to a fringe. Definitely feel more myself that way.

My SIL is in Montreal; I love going to visit, especially around the holidays. Planning to be there for New Years Eve.

Thank you Robin. La Ped bangs are so hard to grow out. I have done it a few times but I always feel better when I have them. Montreal is one of my favourite places. I wish it wasn't so cold in the winter. But people who live there don't seem to care. They are outside enjoying life.

Bangs bring out your beautiful eyes. Definitely fabulous.

Gosh Ms Maven thank you. The bangs are definitely staying.

I kind bangs, too, and your 'do looks great.

Great do - cut and colour is really quite gorgeous! You are certainly ready for Montreal. Will you post a travel capsule post? I am interested in seeing what you would put together for a month 'abroad'.

The fringe and cut really suit you. You look wonderful. Enjoy your trip.

Love the bangs! I'll bet they look even more amazing with more wave in your hair.

I had bangs all my life and then started growing them out a couple of years ago, when I discovered that I had wavy and not staight hair. It's definitely a different look. Sometimes I think I might go back to bangs--I've been eyeing pictures of Alexa Chung, who looks really good with bangs. But my bangs are only straight, while the rest of my hair is wavy (my hair gets curlier as it gets longer), and I'd rather have the two textures not be so different. So for now I am keeping them grown out.

Thank you!!!!! What a lovely community YLF is. Carla I have almost finished my list for my travel capsule for Montreal. I have to pack tomorrow so I only have today to make the final decision. I will try to lay everything on the spare bed (our bed has a black cover so will not work) in lemming fashion. Sophie will not be allowed to sit on my clothes.
Thank you Joy. We are very excited about our trip.
Gigi I have found that my hair does have some wave especially when it is humid. Also the gray hair is more wavy than my old coloured hair.

What a great cut! You look fab and it is fun to change things up. Enjoy it.

Thank you Eliza. Yes it is fun to do something different.

Great cut SF. YLF!

I love the cut Style Fan, very chic indeed. I love bangs/a fringe but have a strong cowlick so can't really wear them. I think they give a youthful and fun air.

Thank you Brooklyn and Sally. I also have a cowlick Sally but maybe not as strong as yours. I tame it with blow drying and occasionally the flat iron. Or just glaring at it.
