Lyn thank you so much for the coupon for the glasses, it came at the perfect time. I burnt my eye so no make-up for at least a month. I just couldn't wait any longer to show you my final outcome and express my unending appreciation.

Even though I swore I was getting really red or blue glasses this time I ended up with neither. The sales assistant at Clearly Contacts was amazing and spent forever on the phone showing me choices. I saw three pair I loved online except for this and that so called them to see if they could steer me in another direction.

They are Jones New York 455 Red

The front of them are a satin finish metallic and the arms are plastic. They really are a shade of burgundy/wine though, not red.

So I ended up with burgundy glasses yet again and somehow JNY as another wardrobe piece even though I tried very hard not to.

The pearls are simple button studs. Spent a lot of time looking at pearls and did not go with the larger, dangle, more modern versions. In the end I really missed my pearl studs from years ago when I stopped wearing them. I I lost one every year and got fed up buying them. For me these are the practical ones. I never take them off at home and since I tend not to remember to wear earrings around the house they are simply perfect. They feel very me too since I've been wearing these as my at home everyday earrings since I was a young teen, they just seem to suit my inner mood and feel like me even though the style and design may not fit with the old, fallen, fatter face. Dh got them for me as part of my Valentine's gift and darn that man does know me. I really didn't want to buy them as I was looking for something more modern but oh they make my heart beat faster and I love them.

Please ignore hockey gear and unstyled hair. Am going through that need a different style thing and looking at pictures, playing at the moment.

Pic one shows the glasses and two shows the glasses and new pearls.
