New dress

Well, I have a new dress that my MIL bought for me on a recent trip, and I broke it out for a student association event tonight! I almost didn't get it because it wasn't a tall size (thank goodness the above-the-knee lengths are in style!) and the price too much for me to ask my MIL to spend! BUT, BR was having a promotion, plus using my BR card gave me a discount, so MIL could pay me back while I still got the points on the card! It worked out well.

I am SOOO happy with this dress. I'd like to get strappy sandals when I have the money, but I think the brown flats work for now. The light brown leather clutch was all I had to throw my pager, cell, and keys into - does it work or clash?? I was hoping since they were all in the brown family it kinda worked... maybe... :)

Great dress! You are right that a strappy sandle would take the look more dressy. Watch for some on sale - bronze metallic would be killer.
