New cream bomber jacket

I promised to post pictures of the cream bomber jacket I got this weekend. They actually had two in store and I had the hardest time deciding which one to buy. In the end I went with the slightly longer jacket with less hardware (but the other one was very pretty too;-)

Don't mind the mess in the background. My little niece and nephew had just left and I hadn't tidied up yet. Also, I look very orangey in these pictures, not sure what that's about, because I'm very pale at the moment.

Died and gone to heaven. I LOVE it, Inge. How many more superlatives can I use?

I LOVE it. What fabric is it? It fits you like a dream.

Inge, the jacket is gorgeous and perfect on you!!! Oh and I love how people without children define mess - the background looks immaculate to me! Part of the reason why I don't post pictures much is because I cannot find a spot in my house that is not cluttered with toys!!!

It's perfect Inge! I love it on you and you look so slim.

The jacket is terrific, and I LOVE your haircut.

Hee hee I echo Shana's comment on the "mess".

The jacket looks fabulous on you! I like it better than than the one I bought at AT, because yours has a more open collar (that v-neck that is always so flattering!) May I ask where it's from?

swooooooon!!!

Wow! I hadn't expected this.

I have to say that the moment I put it on in the store I felt fantastic, and when I took the pictures yesterday I felt fantastic all over again. And apparently that shows... I'm so happy with your unanimous enthusiasm! Thank you!!

Kendra and San: its 55% PU and 45% rayon. It looks quite good, not plastic-y at all and it's incredibly soft.

Laura and Jean: thank you for the compliments on the flat too. It truly is a great place to live.

Shana and Marianne: you're right, of course, this was just a teeny tiny mini-mess;-)

Tara: I found it at a small boutique here in Belgium. The label says Pearl Beach, but I've never heard of that brand before. I'm suspecting it might be Italian, since sizes are small. If you like I could get you one too?
By the way, I know what you mean about the V-neck, but I really LOVE your cream jacket, I think it looked marvellous (even zipped up).

Thanks again for all the lovely compliments everyone, I'll be floating on air for at least a few more hours!

Inge - isn't it wonderful when you buy something that you just know is right? And then to get confirmation from all these stylish ladies is the icing on the cake! You made a great purchase!

Thank you so much for your very kind offer, but I'd be afraid of buying the wrong size! I don't know exactly what my problem is, but I feel like mine is a bit closed in around the shoulders. Could be I'm just used to v-neck collars. Or the moon is in transit. Or maybe it's just that it's Wednesday. Sigh. I think I'm having one of those "I feel fat and old and nothing looks good on me" weeks, LOL.

You're welcome Tara. And I understand your doubts about your jacket, but I really think it fits you perfectly (and you look amazing in it!): this type of jacket is supposed to fit 'tighter' in the shoulder area.

(and I'm like that as well: if I'm not feeling happy with how I look, then I hate everything I put on - even things other people assure me look wonderful;-)

And I agree: wouldn't it be great if we could have a wardrobe with only killer items, things we feel a million bucks in? I still have a long way to go, but it is fun to experiment, especially with the help of all you lovely YLF ladies!

Wow Inge. Both yourself and the jacket are gorgeous!!!

Inge!! I love this bomber jacket on you! (I love it, period, but it's definitely very fitting with your wardrobe and look). I wish it were available Stateside, I would probably run out and try it on forthwith. :D

Inge, that jacket is so pretty and flattering on you! I like the shoulder epaulets and zipper detail a lot.
