New Boots and Outfit Trial

I couldn't resist these leather biker boots at Target this week. These seem to have just enough room for a good insert, so I think they will work. Please tell me that I can keep them- I have wanted a pair of boots like this since Jr. High!

The top is tigher than I would like, and the ankle is baggier than I would like, but I am thinking that they will soften up a bit when I use a leather product and just have a nice lived in look.
Here they are with an outfit- the new cord tunic from Old Navy, scarf from Old Navy, and skinny jeasn from Old Navy

Here is another picture of the clothes without a body- you can see the design on the scarf better this way:

I love this outfit, so I hope that you ladies do too!

Wow, those boots look just like Frye boots... except MUCH less expensive! What a great find! They look so good on you too!

I LOVE the boots and the outfits you have created. These boots seem to fit you and your proportions perfectly, to me anyway. We'll see what Angie says. I give this a big thumbs up look for you. I love the edge of the boots, not too over done, just right! I love how you have softened the look with a scarf. I will remember this with my edgey pieces.

I love the boots and I love the outfit!

KILLER outfit.

But I do think the boots look snug at the top :0(. Perhaps they will strech?

If the boots are comfortable on the calf I would keep, I love your outfit, the colours are lovely.

They feel fine- they are not actually tight to my leg. I think that they will stretch a bit (or that I can have them stretched), and my legs will probably also shrink some more.

I have wanted boots like that since junior high too. LOVE yours, and the outfit is great.

Lovely outfit! Love the scarf! Very trendy!

The boots seem too tight but if you say they are not..

I think the boots look great on you - they are a terrific knock-off of the Frye engineer boots! I also love love love the cord tunic - I'm totally going to check those out at ON!

Shana- go quick! The store where I got mine had them marked down to $12 from $29.

Oooh, thanks for the tip! I wonder if the sale is still going on this week. I'm going to try and head out there tomorrow. Of course, I might end up needing the petite in which case I'll have to order online and pay full price anyway...

I also think they look a bit snug at the top. Can you stretch them? I love the colors you used in your outfit - very chic!

I have been working on them this morning, and they have already stretched out a bit.

OH, I am jealous. I have been craving Frye boots as an excellent answer to my wardrobe's boot dilemma and I would buy these in a second (the budget doesn't allow for Fryes at the moment!). They would fit my lifestyle to a T. But we have no Targets here in Canada! OH NO!!!

They look great and I love your outfit combo. Enjoy. :-)

Oh, I'm sad. I went online because I thought I'd order them and have them shipped to my Aunt's house in NJ... and they don't have size 10s anymore. And the ratings are great - with my narrow calves, they'd be perfect. I'm beyond sad about it!

That's too bad, Ellen. I'm sure they went quick. I was there on Sunday, and they only had three pair left at my store.

WOW! Killer boots and outfit, Khris.
