New Beanie - YouLookFab Forum

I decided to step by a local eco-friendly boutique on my way home today, with the decision to shop more "green" brands from now on in mind. Of course I had to get used to the prices browsing the store, it's definitely not what I'm normally seeing on price tags when I'm out shopping. But they had a lot of lovely and also really stylish things.

One of the things I still needed for winter was a new beanie. And I found one there! Not even that much more expensive than elsewhere. It's 100% merino wool and made in Germany. They had different colors and first I thought to go with a dark color, but then I imagined Angie saying I should "lighten up", so I went with the very light silvery grey. I think it's a good neutral and will be a nice contrast to my dark peacoat. And it goes well with my silver grey puffer coat too (please excuse the selfie pose). I also thought it looked nice with the plaid scarf. What do you think? Good choice?

(This is strictly outerwear, I don't wear beanies for fashion purposes.)

Love it on you Astrid! I agree with your colour choice and think it works perfectly with your coat and scarf . I like a good beanie too I seem to add about 3 or 4 every winter, and my stash is getting a bit ridiculous .

Thanks Lisa! I also have a beret style one in a bright pink, but that one is a more airy knit and doesn't keep me warm enough when it's really cold. So I thought it was time for another option.

Cute! I think the lighter color was a good choice. It looks good with the scarf and sounds like it will go with your puffer. Plus, black is so common in the winter that the grey will be different.

Thanks Alasse! I do think I'll do a lot of online shopping, but this will be definitely one option if I want to browse B&M. And because it's linked with the online store I can also have a look at the website.
