Kinda interesting to me: Porter has a little ditty in its magazine by a model who hung out with Dali in Spain in the early 70s. All maids bringing breakfast in bed with flowers, Dali wearing sequins in the daytime (sparkly), and gypsies playing guitar. I guess that was the time of the Spanish Miracle and the high life. But it's striking, because my gypsy neighbor born in Spain doesn't quite paint that glamorous portrait. Sort of more glamour out of suffering.

Anyways, I just think it's interesting, the window on the world that fashion musings can open...
