NAS coach duffle review

This is a big bag (it fits a 13" macbook no problem).

The interior is nicely lined, with the standard Coach lining. It has a wallet-sized zip pocket, a phone-sized slip pocket, and a sunglasses-sized slip pocket.

The leather is gorgeous - thick but soft. It came with a couple minor scratches (or maybe I scratched it unpacking it? the leather is soft enough that seems possible). It's the kind of bag that would show age quickly, but look good aged.

The coach hangtag is removable. There's also a logo embossed on the side of the bag, on one side only.

Thanks for the review! In your other thread, you said you thought it was too big....? How tall are you? Did you try it cross body style?

TIA! I have it coming in black. I'm worried about it being too big, as well, since I'm only 5'2".

I thought it was too big at first but am now unsure ... It seemed huge when it arrived, stuffed with tissue paper and lined in cardboard. Since it kind of collapses when empty, I am now unsure of the size. I really love the color and the feel of the leather.

I'm 5' 4" on a good day. I tried it cross-body - I think it works like that, but I am not really a fan of the cross-body. On the other hand, it would be convenient for biking.

Can you rub out the scratches with your thumb? Coach used to recommend doing that years ago.

Gorgeous bag, I liked it in your other post too. I think the color and shape are a classic, it will never date. And scratches overtime will give it character and a personalized vibe. But I don't mind a boho/rugged look.

Oh, I love it! It's wonderful that the brand is getting back to what they do best.

That British tan should gain a beautiful patina over time and the scratches will fade into the leather. I'm still carrying a Coach briefcase that's nearly 20 years old, and with occasional conditioning, it still looks great.

Oh thanks for much for the review! I've been anxiously awaiting this! Can we see it on you? Gorgeous bag! The one I saw in store also had a couple of scratches on it; I assumed it was because it was a floor model. Maybe it scratches easily. Mind you that will add to the nice patina in the long run. I am closer to 5'8" so a bigger bag is good for my height. I am still seriously considering this bag, thank you so much for the review. Just having lots of expenditures around here (just had a massive unexpected dental bill for DS today....).

Coach's vintage leather and the really good leather from their anniversary bags a few years back tend to scratch easily, but the scratches rub out fairly easily and with time the bags develop a gorgeous patina. That's the nature of a bag in a brown colour like this, IMO.

And bucket bags really are as big as you need them to be. Put less inside, and it collapses to feel and look considerably smaller. Pack it full, and you can carry the kitchen sink - versatility at its best.

I love this bag, and I hope it works out for you! As for logos, the embossing on this bag is about as understated as any bag can get. Even department store branded bags usually carry a more visible logo than this one. And as the bag is used, the embossed name will become almost invisible.

That looks like the gorgeous leather that Coach was known for years ago. It's certainly a great bag but you must know if the size feels right for you.
