NAS - ink pants?

I have done some serious damage to my brand new Nordies card during NAS and have some beautiful pieces to show for it. Thanks to YLF. But as the sale comes closer to closing I am thinking about what I really need for fall and one thing that stand out is ink blue pants/trousers.

Last winter I bought the greatest pair of Michael Kors bi stretch moto pants that I adored but they are now too big for me. And I seriously love these pants but can't find them anywhere now.

I'm not even really sure what bi stretch means, but they are so flattering on me. Have y'all seen any ink bottoms that you love at NAS? I am an online only customer but I'm happy to take a chance!

Do you by any chance need a pair of traditional trousers? I saw these Halogen ones in person and they're lovely, and come in a 'midnight navy'.

Thank you! What kind of shoes would you suggest with these? I am just not sure about this cut. Would booties work? Or more like my Okalas?

I have always assumed that "bi-stretch" means that the fabric stretches both up and down and side to side. I think that most fabrics, given the way they are woven, is that they stretch either one way or the other, but not both. Maybe one of the forum members who sews clothes would give better info.

I think that either the Okalas or booties would work well with the pants Laura posted. The pants do look like they have a longer inseam; if so, the shoes would have to have some type of heel so that the pant leg can cover them quite a bit. Angie likes trousers like this to come almost to the floor when viewed from the back (when you have the shoes on). I don't think a flat heel would work.

You could maybe check Ann Taylor for navy trousers. I jumped over to the site quickly, but it seems like most of hers are ankle length, so that might be a no-go. You could also possibly check White House Black Market, but I don't know how much navy they offer.

Great feedback. Thank you. I think the bi stretch quality might be why these pants are so flattering. I'm so disappointed that they are unavailable now! I'll try some of your suggestions though.

I bought some navy Vince pants from the NAS. They are a good purchase and definitely dressy enough for work purposes. They do have some wool in them but I don't think too they will be too warm. I had to exchange and go up a size.

I have a white faux leather Bailey 44 top, too and they will definitely play nicely together

I also have a pair of navy mostly cotton Tory Burch cigarette pants. They are a nice crisp look for summer but they do wrinkle easily.
