My Wide Leg Pants Substitute

Angie asked if I have shown my wide leg pants substitute. I've worn these pants this winter with my chelsea boots and now that spring is here, I'm wearing them with my new sandals. Photo #1: Joes Jeans, Gudrun tunic, and Fly London Chelsea boots. Photo #2: Joes Jeans, Yea tunic, and Cole Hann sandals. I kept the pants longer for cold weather but I think the length is perfect for sandals. What do you think?

YES. These are cropped flares (MUCH more streamlined). An essential for my own wardrobe - although I wear voluminous wide crops too.

All: Thank you all for your kind words. I tried wide leg pants in the fall and didn't have the right tops to wear with them. I shopped for tops and couldn't find any that I liked, so I returned the pants. (I've noticed the stores have a better selection of tops now.) DH wasn't crazy about the pants, either. He's OK with the crop flares which are the only pair of pants I have that are not skinny, a look he likes a lot. I ordered wide leg pants last night after seeing Greyscales post. The Gap wide leg jeans look promising, and I'm willing to give this look another try.

I mean wondering how's one making a decision on buying those so very special fluid tunics instead of the billion other kinds all out there on the market and

I think I like #1 better, prefer that tunic and the proportions with the boots more than the sandals. Looks very stylish. I think for me, the sandals look a bit too clumpy? I might prefer sandals with a small heel if you have or can wear any Bonnie (eg a low wooden or stacked heel). It's fine as is of course!
