My stirrup leggings arrived!

I got my stirrup leggings yesterday. I know what I think of the look on me, but was wanting to get some input from you fabulous YLFers.
I put them on with some of my only shoes that don't have ankle straps, and left my top on that I wore earlier today.
What do you think?

I love these on you. They look good on everyone. I think the foot strap is very interesting compared to the ones without. Both are good though.
I might like them better with a more casual shoe. I feel that the spiked heel is very dressy and the leggings are not so much. I also think the top should be longer with these full length leggings.

Woo hoo i LOVE them. I'm the oposite to san i love them with the high shoe and the short top for a dressy look- sure they would look just as fab with longer top and flats. Can't wait for mine to arrive x

Ok now that surprises me- stirrup leggings? CONTROVERSIAL?? LOL
If you like them- wear them, if not- don't. It's just clothes.
They look really cute on you, Sara- especially with those heels.

Hehe, YES. I love them. They're even more comfy than cropped leggings! My only concern was that the heel part seems to be cut smaller than Angie's pair, for example. Is the fact that you can't see it a problem? Do they look odd like that?
My husband likes the look too. I'm happy he's on board. I think these could be super cute or sexy depending on how I wear them.
I'm hoping to find some outfit ideas especially for the fall.

I like them on you too. I think they're fine without the heel showing-- it's just a different look from if the heel did show. If you get sandals to wear them with, then the heel will show.

When I wore mine, I felt so avant-garde in Austin. It did feel a little weird wearing black tights in 98 degrees but I just decided I was channeling Hong Kong (thanks, Angie) and they were great for the AC. I believe Danja said she had a hard time separating them from her dance associations but I think that's exactly why I like them-- I feel so graceful like a dancer.

Me too! I've always wished I could dance, and I love how the leggings make me feel like I'm graceful. Ha.
I did get the pewter KC's, so I'll try those with my leggings when they arrive. I may also nab the pair shown in the NAS online catalog. They look a bit sheer but I will go up a size or two. I can really see these working well for me since I work in a really cold office.

love! i actually prefer stirrups w/ heeled pumps like yours, rather than sandals. its very 80s to me! you could also perhaps try wearing the stirrups outside of the shoes, like the leg warmers in this picture - http://cgi.ebay.com.my/ws/eBay.....;indexURL=
