My spring/summer purchases - YouLookFab Forum

Hi all, Wanted to share my rather odd collection of items that I have added for spring/summer.
Shoes: black birkenstocks, navy sketchers. My sister recommended the sketchers for running around and they are so comfortable. I did have some fit issues with some of the styles but the GoWalk2 seem to work very well.
Jacket: Columbia Arcadia in white. TBH I haven't cut the tags on this yet. I am torn between my love of white and the idea that I may look like a giant marshmallow walking the dog.
Purse: leather bag from Italy. I am always scrambling when I need to go somewhere special. I have now built 2 capsules but was missing a nice purse.

Pants: bleached jeans

Tops: black (it looks grey) stretch lace top, white tunic top with cami

Coral high low top - tags are still on here as it looks like you must wear something under due to large arm holes. But the colour and style is quite nice.
I am not sure that I am done because I am always tempted. Plus I have the joy of having two lovely teenage girls whom I must shop with :).

A great start, Glory. I like the coral top, jeans, bag and Birkies best. Could wear them all in one outfit.

What great purchases Glory! Wonderful about the capsules working out and finally finding the right purse for one of them, it's always hard when you're missing just one thing to bring everything together.

Great haul...I love ate jackets and never thought about looking like a marshmallow I guess there are worse things, right!

I like the white jacket too, but you have to feel good wearing it, so don't keep it if you're going to think marshmallow every time you head out the door :-).
The coral top is very pretty but do you want to wear a cami underneath a sleeveless top? I figure if it's hot enough for sleeveless then one layer is more than enough!

This collection will take you a long way. Both pairs of shoes are right on trend and give you two contrasting options. I bought my first slip on sneakers a year ago and had fun figuring out more and more outfits to wear them with.

I like Angie's suggestion very much.

Oh, and if you wear a colorful scarf with that gorgeous white jacket, no one will mistake you for a marshmallow.

Really great stuff. I like the white jacket and don't think you would look like a marshmallow in it.

Summer shopping is my favorite! I have a pair of Sketchers, too. The foot bed is wonderful! I have a high volume foot, which seems to work well with the brand.

White jackets are all the rage -- wear and enjoy! I do think they'll need to be washed more often, but I find white preferable to a light color in that regard.

Ladies you are all very kind and supportive. I have taken the tags off the white marshmellow and am going to enjoy wearing it. Used it this morning to walk the dog!
