Congratulations on creating a blog! It looks interesting to me already, and I like your article.
Are you going to add a bio? I would love to see one. Or did I miss it?

Edit: OK I found the bio under the "about" tab. Very nice, but pictures are always interesting for your readers.

By "customization" I am referring to a nicer header, and better links on the side that sort of thing.
