My first ever Club Monaco order is here...ETA: decision made...

...and you know what: this brand is not friendly for tall gals! I am almost in tears here because the quality is so great...see for yourself.

1-2 Merino short sleeve sweater.
I though it may be a great layering basic for fall - winter...look at the length! It should work with skirts but not with pants and jeans, right? This is so sad because I love the color and the wool is soft and very lightweight - ideal for layering.

3-4 Snake print sweater.
This is the same sweater Angie and Ceit have in thistle pattern. Too short!!!! Also sleeves are too snug - I prefer to have some ease in sleeves for a sweater. In addition it is itchy. This one is going back for sure!

5-6 navy slouchy t-neck
I LOVE this sweater. It is so soft and cozy - but again short! It also fits more oversized on the model I think.

7-8 silk shirt
This is the only one with a good length for me. I want to try more sit down tests to ensure it is not too snug over my hips but other than that I really like this shirt. It has Peter Pan collar and I like it!

I am strongly considering to keep the silk shirt. I am definitely returning the snake print sweater. However I am on the fence about the short sleeve sweater and t-neck. I looked at the website again and they are not much longer on the models as well...maybe they are supposed to fit like this?
Help me please, set me straight!!!!!

ETA: I have made up my mind on CM stuff this morning. I am keeping the silk shirt and navy t-neck (I actually wore t-neck today as it was COLD). I am returning snake print sweater - well that was obvious. I am also returning the cobalt short sleeve sweater. While it has enough width in the body it cut too close in the shoulders and arms and I like more ease there in sweaters. I know now that I like to add some short sleeve sweaters for winter but this is not the right one. PPP prevails! Thank you all for your help - and especially Angie for pointing out the problem area of the cobalt sweater and saving me expense and frustration of owning a garment I would not be happy wearing.

Don't give up yet! I tried that same short sleeve sweater on in store and found it way too short and I'm only a little over 5'5", so yes, I think it's supposed to be that way. So if you like it that's good, but I didn't get it because I can't stand when my shirt feels like its riding up. The silk shirt looks like a good length on you. I find most of their silk shirts to be really long.

I love the silk shirt on you! I also think that you look stunning in that shade of blue.
For all that is worth, I have the sweater in 3/4 in the other print and it hits me in the same spot. I am much shorter than you (5'6"), but I do have a very long torso. I personally do not mind it at all.
I think the sweaters are supposed to fit this way - in my experience CM has always fit my long torso better than most brands, meaning they do cut a bit longer through the body. I also like to layer shorter sweaters of over longer button-downs/blouses, but I guess that is a matter of personal preference.
I would keep everything other than navy t-neck, as it does look too boxy for my taste.

You MUST keep the silk shirt. It is gorgeous on you and I can see the quality of the silk even in the photo. It will be versatile and useful. That is that.

Love the merino short sleeve sweater, too. And you know, I am unsure about the length. Yes, it is short for trousers/ shorts if you go by Angie's top test. But something about the cut of this (has it got a band at the bottom?) makes me feel as if it is okay at this length....it looks like a natural "semi-tuck" almost -- gently slouchy. And certainly it would work with skirts/ dresses -- though I understand the pressure to have something that works with both and the frustrations when that isn't true. (I have just put a shirt in the consign pile because it only works for skirts).

I hear you on the snake print sweater -- that's a shame.

I feel unsure about the navy turtleneck. It looks good to me in front. Not sure about the back view for some reason.

It's not the lengths of the first two items I'm worried about - it's the width. It's like you need to go up a size in both. The length works well for the faux tuck and skirts.

I love each and every piece. Love. If you have to let something go, I'd agree with the snake. These don't feel too small or too short to my eye. Do you need to play with them a bit more to be sure about the fit? The quality of these pieces shines through the photos. That shade of blue is extraordinary on you. Dry your eyes, beautiful Sveta. I think you CAN wear Club Monaco!
(I just ordered the CM cream color lace blouse and I love it. Their stuff runs a little small, but the length is just fine. This blouse would look gorgeous on you!)

Suz, the silk quality is awesome, I did not want to take it off!
Angie, I wish CM sizes went up to XL but they do not so no sizing up.
Snake sweater fits snugger that the short sleeve sweater, it is definitely no. Too bad about the cobalt sweater . I though it is short but otherwise fits well - even if in more fitted way but if you think it is too small then it should go back.
I thought navy t-neck should be roomier too - I think it is very similar in style to your Vince one. Also I forgot to include a side shot of it...

I agree that the first two look too short - I have a long torso although I'm not particularly tall and find tops that are too short very annoying. I like the last two tops, I agree that the t-neck was slouchier in the online photos but it still looks good on you.

The silk shirt and the T neck look great on you. I like the cobalt top but only you can know your shortness threshold. I have found some fabbers wear shorter tops then I would wear comfortably with pants and their outfit proportions totally work. I am not seeing the width concern that Angie mentions, I must have to go get my eye retrained. I have considered ordering (but have yet to try CM) so appreciate the quality report.

Angie - maybe, it does not feel snug, just not a slouchy fit. The snake print one is definitely snug - arms and all - and maybe that's why it is itchy.
I just tried t-neck and cobalt sweater with skirts - I think they are both keepers. I was seriously lacking shorter tops to wear with skirts and I think these 2 work - one in more oversized way and one in more fitted way.
I will try to style them and post more pictures later...

I think the silk blouse is a keeper

This may be me and my personal hangup over being an IT, but the shoulder seams on the blue merino sweater do not hit where your shoulder bone ends. They look at least 1/2", and possibly even 1", too small. Perhaps you'll pick up more length if you sized up?

I don't think they are too short -- I prefer this length for a faux-tuck. That being said, they don't look wide enough on the shoulder for you though. The silk shirt is gorgeous on you, and I like the turtleneck too.

Weird because I just ordered a CM skirt from shopbop in size 10 and it fit like a generous 12. But it was not too long... Maybe just the tops are a bit short. I LOVE the silk peterpan top. Just gorgeous and dramatic.

The lace blouse you posted is the one that I have, yes. I've not worn it yet but will give it a whirl with a black suit next week when I head East for a presentation!
