I tried wearing a dress for the first time in years! I'd love to know what you think.

It's black with white polka dots, faux wrap style, from Express. It seems to fit pretty well. I wore it out to dinner with black tights, grey flats, grey hat, pearls, and a long black cardigan. Does this combination work?

Do you have leggings? Not sure where you live, but this combo feels a bit too "fall" for a summer outfit. Does that make sense? lol My point is, gimme some color and some white! Show a little skin

Amy - good suggestion. I did try wearing the dress with leggings and a red camisole. I should take a picture of that.

Medusa, I really like this look, both with and without the cardigan. I agree, it is not summery, but I could also see it with stirrups and lower vamp shoes (a la Angie :)). That hat looks so great with it!

Totally adorable, but I agree more for fall than summer. LOVE the shoes with it; Maya had just linked that UO outfit with the flat oxfords, and I had been thinking about trying it myself this fall. It's very cute on you!

To summer it up, lose the tights and try a pair of sandals. Bet it will be just as adorable!

I LOVE the dress and the cloche. AMAZING! Look at you in a frock again. So fab! And the grandpa is adorable layered over it too. Love the tights and yup, I see stirrup leggings with the look if you dare. I’m fine with the Oxfords too.

Wow! Thanks everyone for the comments. It's great to get positive feedback, especially the Angie seal of approval.

I actually thought the stirrup leggings looked really cute - I think I will try that. I'll have to post some more photos and see what you all think.

You must wear more dresses! I have recently rediscovered them myself as part of the whole YLF leggings infatuation and am so glad you have given them a try as well; you look great.

Also, I'm glad you're posting - I was remembering your original posts recently, thinking that I had not seen you on the forum in a while, and struggling to remember your log-in name (I only remembered that it was cool). I was wondering how you were doing with your wardrobe revamp, so it's nice to see pictures!
