That revisionist blazer would be great on you.

I'm staying in moto-land until I get over my fear of dressing just like my late beloved fashionista mama.

I love my motos and they work on my body. Also, even though I'm in LA (though not in a fashion-forward industry, lol) hardly anyone I know wears a moto and mine get commented on as something different.

Blazers on the other hand I can rarely get to fit right. Also I'm not 100% sure that I feel comfortable with their vibe. Although my Theory blazer that I spent on in 2012 is a dream to wear.

I always feel like my blazers are too dressy for my life (because my two favorite blazers are black suiting wool, not casual) whereas motos fit perfectly. But I love blazers so much. One of mine is an amazing Theyskens Theory blazer from a few years ago that is just a tiny bit edgier than I usually wear (big shoulder pads, etc). Maybe a goal for this fall should be to work it back into my outfits.

Love this. I definitely need a wool blazer for this fall, but I want a more equestrian one.

Gosh Anna, were blazers ever out? I never met a blazer I didn't like and I adore that look. Also have a huge love of black watch tartan. Cropped, equestrian, long (as you know), oversized, tuxedo - cropped and regular, etc, etc, etc. I have them all and wear them all. I do have a leather moto, it's the perfect topper for many things but blazers have always been preferred. So motos are in, blazers are in, cardigan blazers have a place, cardi a less but enjoyed topper. Styles change but blazers will always be the uber work horse of my wardrobe!! PS I think you'd look awesome in that outift!! Can't wait to see your renditions!

Like the look with the blazer. Somehow soothing, yet easily punched up with footwear and a bag. Look forward to seeing your nterpretations.

I have a light grayed taupe scuba jacket and a black moto jacket. I would be over either one of them if their hardware was emphasized, but both are quite simple, so they work for my current sensibilities,
