MOTG: Starbucks and Trader Joe's

Today, I met a girlfriend at Starbucks for drinks, then we grocery shopped at TJ's.

Initially, I planned to have my kids with me the whole time. But, through a fortunate series of events, DH picked the kids up from Starbucks and took them home. So, I got to finish my visit and shop solo. Yay!

This is what I wore:

I added a black v-neck cardi for the ac in TJ's. I'll admit that the leopard and the dark denim are...well...dark. I would have worn my new white clams, but I thought I'd have the kids, and wanted to be realistic about things. It all worked out and there's always next time...

Thanks ladies! I had so much fun!!!

My outfit even worked while BFing DS1 before DH took the kids home. Easy access, machine washable, unfussy, yet pulled together enough for the task at hand...can't beat that!

BTW, my friend is a SAHM too, with older kids. She wore a white 3/4 sleeve button down, the J Crew gladiola skirt, and anthracite strappy heels, and carried a vintage tan clutch with metallic detail on the flap...FABULOUS!!!

Wow, you rock! You are one hot mama and I am totally impressed that you were able to breast feed so easily. That was such a struggle for me last year to find stylish outfits in which I could discretely breast feed - having breasts that were the size of cantaloupes did not help!

I know what you mean about wearing the dark denim plus a dark top - it just doesn't feel summery. I guess it's having darker skin and dark hair that just compounds it. It makes me feel like I am dressed too dark for daytime.

Another beautiful outfit Lesley (hope that's spelled correctly). I don't mind the darker colours really, makes those cute gold-toned gladiators sparkle even more;-)

I bet you and your friend are the two most stylish lasses in town!

You look amazing! What a stylish mom you are!
You are an inspiration with the whole BF thing. When I was pregnant and planning to breastfeed, I was overwhelmed by the idea that I had to have special clothes, I could only wear baggy tops, etc etc etc. I heard so many wardrobe restrictions! I didn't know until I actually started BF that I didn't have to go that route. Thank you for proving that point!

Wow!! Leopard top AND a skirt all while BFing one of the kids and generally planning to spend the whole day running after them!! You look absolutely stunning, Lesley! (I must add, though, that you are so gorgeous that I doubt there is an outfit that can make you look less than stunning).

You look amazing! I love those sandals--what brand are they? They look wonderful against your skin and really brighten up the outfit.
