MOTG Formula 4

After reading Angie's blog post today, I decided to put together some combos form my wardrobe. I came up with 4:

heeled ankle boots, DKNY Soho jeans, patterned tunic sweater, chain link necklace and pleather jacket

pewter loafers, Levi's 505, tunic sweater, polka dot scarf and pleather jacket

Converse, Levi's 505, striped tunic, floral scarf and pleather jacket

Sofft ballet flats, Levi's 505, cowl neck tunic, stone choker and thrifted blazer

I feel like b and c are kind of frumpy, but maybe it's just the effect of flats?

Wow! You're really doing well with these MOTG formulas. I especially love the first outfit in this post - just gorgeous.

Great outfits! Before I read your comment about b and c being frumpy, I already picked A and D as my favorites. Both of those are so put together looking.

I"m thinking maybe a longer scarf with b might make a difference. Is the dress with C getting big on you? It just seemed like alot of fabric going on below the jacket.

I just took another peek at the pics and here's what I noticed. In A and D you have some neck showing. In B and C you have the scarf tied up high around your neck, which I think is anti-slimming. Perhaps if you tied the scarves lower to give a more elongated neckline you would be happier with the looks. Or, perhaps with the high collar of the jacket, you need necklaces instead of scarves.

You are so slim! Amazing. Congrats. #1 is my favorite. Looks amazing on you and really shows off that gorgeous figure.

I really like them all. Your fab haircut and glasses really bring everything together. I understand what you mean about the effect of the heels, but I think #2 is my favorite - maybe it's the loafers :)

Thanks queenie- that's great perspective. That dress *is* getting big on me. I was between sizes and should have sized down when I bought it. I didn't even think about the scarf verses necklace. I'll have to try that out.

I think they all work, but the first is my favorite. I love the color of the tunic on you.

My fave is #1,you look so polished ,maybe its the higher heels!

OOOh, I LOVE the last look! They're all cute but I like the a-line tunics best.

You are doing great with the MOTG outfits. You are a constant source of inspiration.

Wow, you shrank again! Amazing, amazing.
I love look 1 the best. And I have to ask, where are you finding these tunic sweaters?

Looking great!! One is also my favorite.

Haha- I bought both of those sweaters long ago (end of last winter) and for a song! The printed one was at Susie's Deals- do you have those in Texas? Everything is $5.99 or less there.Actually, the cream cowl neck was also from there. The blue one was on the clearance rack at F21 for $7 I think. I found a couple of different stles and they are really nice. That one has a little cashmere, and I found other styles with angora. They are fine knits, so the animal fiber is just enough to keep them from being too lightweight. the striped one was from Old Navy- another bargain. It's just a knit dress, not really a sweater.

Yeah, number 1 is my favorite, too.

Fab outfits, Khris! I like the layered printed maroon tunic best, but all of them are great.
