I am back from my London adventure. It will take me some time to process all the sights and sounds of my quick trip, and the incredible meetup day. Meanwhile I can share some pictures!

#1 Diane arrange the perfect place for us to have lunch - and we were all famished. You get a peak of Skylurker and UKSue here.
#2,3 My birthday wish was for help picking lipstick - can you spot the fabbers hanging around the Laura Mercier counter? Hint - lovely Ruth is not yet wearing her blue scarf.
#4 My very nice makeup assistant decided to add some blush.
#5,6 It of course wore off by dinner! And yes, that was my second glass of red wine in short order. Luckily the tube is extremely well organized!

I will make a separate post with some sightseeing pictures from my second day in London. Thanks for looking!

I'm still coveting your Marni handbag and endlessly grateful for being steered to the Laura Mercier counter (very happy with the new colour). Had to laugh because I've never thought of the Tube as particularly well organised.

Oooh thanks so much for posting these, Jaime! It truly was an absolute pleasure meeting you (as I mentioned in London, long overdue!). You are even more engaging, modest, thoughtful, kind, charming, and uber stylish in person. And yes, even though we did get to spend 11 hours together, it nearly wasn't enough. So I'm already looking forward to our next meetup, and to chatting and hanging out with you more.

Your new lipstick is such a good one (and I love yours too, Approprio), and I think it's brilliant that you flew all the way from Israel for our London Gathering. Makes it even more special.
(Glad to hear that second glass of wine didn't interfere with finding your way around the tube system:-)

abc - Yes! Diane did a fantastic job of selecting the breakfast and lunch venues, and we had lunch at the beautiful café at Fenwick. Delicious food and a great and surprisingly quiet setting.

Thanks for posting the new photos Inge! Yet more great reminders of a fantastic day. I'm so sorry I forgot to pack my compact camera.

I have to admit I'm squirming slightly at my scruffy appearance. In my defence it was inevitable and somewhat intentional as I was there with a tiny bag after a night on the ferry. But if you ever catch me with my sunglasses on my head like that again, please gently kick me. I must break that habit.

So much fun to see all the photos. I am fortunate to have been to a few meetups and I know they are such fun and a whirlwind of activity. Don't worry appropo - I almost always forget to take photos since you don't want to miss anything. Nice that you took time out for wine!
