MN MOA meet up?

MN ladies should we plan a little meet up at Mall of America sometime? Or if you live close to MN and would want to make the drive you are more than welcome too! Lets try to work something out if you guys are interested! Could be super fun!

Thanks for organizing. I'm in! I'm gone a lot for the rest of the summer (the weeks of July 25, Aug 8, and Aug 15) so if you have to do it without me, I understand. It's about time, eh?

My only really busy week (Aug 1) is the week sarah is IN town! But I'm still here that week and available evenings/weekend. Most of my commitments are random and usually flexible.

Do you ladies think a Saturday late morning meetup would be good? (That's what some of the other get-togethers seemed to be.)

Attn non-MN YLFers: There is great shopping to be had at the Mall of America People come from all over to shop there (no sales tax on shoes/clothing!). You really do hear all sorts different languages while shopping there (especially in Nordstrom Rack!!)

Mid-late morning on Aug 6 would work for me - Aug 20 would as well.

I really want to make it work so everyone can come! Even if we have to plan kind of far out there on the calendar to make sure everyone is free.

The rest of July won't work for me -- I'm in WI this coming weekend and my son is turning 5 on the 27th so the rest of the month will be spent getting his party together for the 30th.

August - So far i just have my husbands bday party on the night of the 6th and I'll be in WI Dells the 21-23rd.

Ok so i'm looking at what everyone else has posted...I could mostly likely do the 6th or 20th during the day i would just have to make sure my inlaws could watch my son.

Either of those days (6th, 20th) work for me, and if it's better to schedule further ahead, i.e. September, that's okay too.

lol, S....OF COURSE you are! OMG, you all are SO sweet! It can be kind of a hindrance with a walker, so I honestly wouldve understood if it was preferred I didnt come, but Im SOOO happy! Any day would work for me

Let me know the date, so I can get it on my calendar - along with which coffee shop we should meet up in! (There must be coffee shops at the MOA, right? I've never paid much attention)

Ok i just found out the 6th is out for me so can we try for the 20th? Again i'll have to make sure i have a sitter but i'll let you guys know as soon as i do! I'll be MIA this weekend as i'm in Mankato tomorrow night and then Milwaukee for the rest of the time but we shall not let this thread die ladies! We'll work it out; i'm determined!

The more the merrier! Pencil it on your calendar too.

If you have hours to drive, then hopefully we can get things decided sooner rather than later for your travel plans. I think I'm the only one in the metro area(?), so everyone would no doubt like lots of advance notice.

Yay the more the merrier indeed! I'm dropping off my kiddo with my father-in-law tomorrow evening so i will make a mental note to ask him then so everyone can have lots of notice. Fingers crossed it all works out!

Ok so it looks like we've all agreed to move the date back to sometime in October? My brother in law is getting married that month but i *think* it's in the beginning so after all that jazz i should be good. We can talk more when the time gets closer but lets try to remember Saturday, early afternoons still right?

Any day except the 24th ( a Monday) is good for me! That is my BD and DH is taking the day off from work to spend it with me....really looking forward to meeting you all!

I'm good most any Saturday or Sunday in October (funny how that always works when it is two months away

I'm also open the first Saturday and Sunday of November.

It will be so fun to meet everyone IRL!

Oops! I have a Chicago wedding on October 22 and will be gone that weekend. (Must go to check the Chicago meet-up thread. . .)

So, I am available any Saturday/Sunday in October EXCEPT the 22/23. The first Saturday/Sunday of November look good for me too.
