Missed Return Window - Danier Jacket

Hi all, I just realized I missed the return window on this lipstick red leather jacket I ordered from Danier. The leather is a gorgeous lambskin. It has a removable insulated lining. The size is S but i think it is cut for an average width shoulder. Asking $120. I think it fits more like a US size medium. Sadly, I don't like the fit at the shoulders on me ;(

Seriously, though, it looks beautiful on you. I don't see a shoulder issue, but if you feel it, that's what's important. What is the issue -- does it feel too tight? Too roomy?

ah guys, the shoulder is actually quite big, it is not so obvious from the picture but the shoulder bubbles up pretty bad, due to my super narrow shoulder. The back bubbles too. That's a pretty common issue for me.

Ack. Echoing all the other jacket love (on you) here. That is a pricey deadline miss. Would it be worth tailoring? Or I'm thinking the shoulder issue might not be so obvious to you if you wear the jacket unzipped?

I keep coming back to this thread to see who the lucky person is that takes this lovely off your hands. I bet it would fit me, and it's awfully tempting, but I have enough leather jackets and I'm shopped out for a little while.

Pricey mistake it is. I did pay close to $200 with shipping, perhaps more ( I can't remember).
Janet, I do understand. I have limits on other things already.
The shoulder issue is very obvious IRL and that is a very expensive alteration.

If it doesn't work here, try the usual suspects like ebay, I suppose...and worst-case scenario, donate to someplace like Dress for Success. I hope you can sell it--this jacket is gorgeous!

Hi Zap. I don't know if it would help, but do you think you could post measurements of like the shoulders, sleeves and whatnot? That may help some fabbers who are on the fence. Now I need to go find something very important to do and NOT look at the red jacket...

I quite like it and like Kristin would be curious for a for measurements to compare against current garments. The length back neck to hem would be critical to know.

Oh Zap, you temptress . . . I keep shadowing your style and am probably close in size but a little bigger with big shoulders and broad upper back . . . so it sounds close to perfect . . . but this gives me a week to think v.e.r.y carefully before you post measurements . . .

Yes don't they have odd vanity sizing ie/ XXXS, XXS, XS etc... They should just use the numbers, it's totally confusing for me to wear a "small" which apparently translates as 8-10, which is definitely a medium in my world!
