Mini-makeover challenge - done!

A few weeks ago I set myself this challenge
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-challenge

I am happy to report that it is all done! (not quite in the timeslot I'd hoped, but still...)

I was hoping to show you some pics but will have to wait until DH can spare me his laptop for an evening.

In addition to my list, I also had an eyelash tint (another voucher, I'd overlooked previously). So far, I am very sold on this, as I only get around to putting on mascara about once a week, and (unlike the facial and the eyebrow wax) would be willing to go back and pay for it!

Anne- that's fabulous! That was a long list-and you added to it with the eyelash tint, so great job. Aren't the lash tints great? I'd forgotten how much I loved this, so you've inspired me to pull out my old box of 1000 Hours lash tint (ha- it's from Australia).

Glad to hear you took care of yourself. With children, it's so easy to get busy, busy put yourself on hold, and wake up years later wondering what happened.

Glad you got it done and I think you moved pretty quickly with it. Hats off to you!

Good job, Anne! How do you feel now that you've completed the mini-makeover? Is there anything on the list that you found worthwhile repeating, other than eyelash tinting? Can't wait to see photos!

Thanks everyone

In response to Ana's question (and Taylor' point about "keeping it up"). One thing I am doing is reverting to my old habit of booking my hair appointments for the next time straight after the haircut, while I am still there!
Most of the rest of my things were kind of one off's or seasonal (like a wardrobe edit).

The beautician said I had good skin so I don't think I need to spring for a facial, the eyebrow waxing didn't need to take much (I am not a very hairy person in general), but I do need to keep up with haircuts and dying my roots. Given a small budget in this area, this seems the best place to use it.

Sounds like a good plan, I have no budget for the beautician but try to pamper myself at home every now and then. I think taking the time to look after these things is such a treat for a MOTG.

There is a lot you can do from home Anne - all you need is a bit of time and skill. I like your plan so far :0)
