Angie’s picks allowed me to make an order to fill those last few wardrobe holes. Yay! I think it’s all over but the shouting. Fit information reflects a tall, short-waisted, hourglass/pear, missy/plus sized
body (right, Angie?)

EF culottes. A HEWI for sure. I wear EF bottoms in medium, large, or extra large depending on the cut; these are a large and a perfect
length for high-shaft booties on my 5’8” frame. Definitely not as versatile as the Halogen kick flares, much more dramatic. My SA agreed that there was no contest between the two on me. Equally interesting with cropped tops and ultra-long tunics and toppers.

Cole Haan skimmers in pewter: oddly enough, my regular size is fine despite the gorgeous extreme toe. Great color! Definitely not for commuting, but comfortable considering. However, there's a lot of creasing happening across the toes, and I've barely had them on for five minutes: hmmm.

Jen7 straight leg pants in bordeaux (pending delivery). Jen7, where have you been all my life? My SA directed me to their vapor grey skinny jean, and though I swear I’m OVER skinny jeans, the fit was so good and the color so in line with my intended style shift, they came home with me. Size 14, sufficiently long, and minimal calf-sucking.

Kut Dianas in olive (pending delivery). Olive jeans fill another wardrobe hole. But skinny? Comments from Angie and the forum make me skeptical about fit, but some missy-sized Kuts are good on me: we’ll
see.

I’m on a mission to add more colorful neutrals and patterns to my style, so I added the burgundy Halogen blouse (runs big, but I took my
usual size for the sake of extra volume; lovely, heavy crepe) and the
transitional tweed Sejor sleeveless tunic (ditto on size; not loving the feel so it may go back) as well as two scarves and a slightly gaudy new cross body bag.

In short: no desired wildcard, but totally satisfactory wardrobe
essentials and a happy-making wardrobe pet.
