I finished the medical tests that have been going on since January and I am so tired of being poked, prodded, anesthetized, and visiting various doctor offices weekly. I still need to have my teeth cleaned and an eye exam but will make those appointments next month. I originally posted about my issues here. I have a reprieve until January, YEA!!! Here is my list -

1 - right carotid artery to be rechecked in January. I am closer to the 79% mark than the 50% mark and the next step is surgery. I will have surgery to clean out the artery if and when I reach 80%, have another stroke, or a TIA.
2 - Blocked celiac artery will be rechecked in one year or if my symptoms become worse.
3 - They found two nodules in my thyroid glad but they are small right now and I will have them rechecked in a year.
4 - I will also need another colonoscopy in a year. They found 4 more sessile serrated adenomas two weeks ago and I just got the pathology report back today. These four have grown since the February colonoscopy. None of them had dysplasia so the only dysplastic polyp was found in February.

So, in six months I will start the whole process over. I am much more educated now so that should alleviate some of the stress. At least I hope so. Poor hubster is a little overwhelmed right now and I feel really bad because his previous wife died of brain cancer. Thanks for reading and all of your support.
