Awesome sauce! House totally defines all the Millenial music if you ask me. When I talk to my work children about 'their music,' that's totally what I notice.

Right I've had a front row seat to all of it. Music just like fashion repeats itself. Just like everything. I love that you say work children Lol I have a work husband and we've been together for 13 years.

Yes! Music is such a huge force, and I love so many genres -- funk and soul have had huge, far-reaching influences. I love that clip you posted. Reminds me of some of the amazing gatherings in my hometown (Baltimore), and even though Chicago is bigger, I always feel like the two cities share a lot of spirit somehow. Thanks for sharing!

You are so right Janet. I know the Boston music scene for HOUSE is a sist kinship to Chicago. I want to make plans to visit Boston , Detroit and New York to experience HOUSE there. Thank you for checking out the video.

Loved the clip--thanks for sharing it! Soulful and sultry are good descriptions. I really like the sound, and it's fun to see everyone dancing and enjoying it. You are amazing in that gorgeous white outfit, with the beaded accents and pointy white shoes! And your smile in 3 is so beautiful--whoever captured that joy in a photo did a fantastic job of it!

Thank you for your response Firecracker. My shoes are actually a Angie YLF pick. And my Friend Emanuel Love a photographer for the city of Chicago has been photographing me for the past 3 years at diffuHOUSE events. I love him. Lol

My childhood soundtrack was house fused indie music grown in Manchester (Madchester) in the UK.

Happy Monday's, The Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets to name a few. Early house music was a breath of fresh air to so many genres.
