I'm making myself crazy looking for a teal dress, that stands alone. I need a fresh perspective here. Like it or hate it?

If it were really long on me I'd be hemming it, so don't worry about length too much.ETA, the second picture is for detail. I would be getting the dress in teal.

I'd get the shorter one, to avoid hemming (and therefore spoiling) the scalloped lace edge. Should be lovely in teal. Good luck!

They are both beautiful but I am partial to the color of the teal. I can see that the length is kind of in-between, but for some reason I like it anyway.

Wow. The teal is stunning. I like both lengths if that's the question! The shorter one is more usual and would be very wearable for other occasions, so , apropos the threads on lack of good dresses, I might be practical. The longer one seems to really work.
Are both teal colors the same? # 1 is do fab.

Thanks ladies. For more clarity on the length, there's a long length, 54" and a short one, 44." Since I'm 5'3" the short one goes well below my knees, almost ankle length on me. My sister would like us to wear tea length and could hem the dress if it's too long. She wants us to wear black flats, so a slightly longer than tea length dress plus round toed flat shoes will probably be stumpifying on me, but I'll live. For more clarity on the colors: both lengths of the dress come in the teal pictured here and that is what I'd get.

I'll keep this dress on my list. It's just hard to commit because the company doesn't do refunds, only store credit or exchanges.

The longer real dress gets my vote. especially if you are wearing flats. Both look great, though. I'm a bit on the fence with the shorter one when you say it will hit you below your knees and you have to wear flats. Might be alright if it hits you at the right length, your sweet spot.

Thanks Harmonica. I agree. Tea length isn't my fave on myself. Can't complain too much though since my only restrictions are tea length, teal, and modest, per the bride.

My 2c worth is you'll be wearing it once with flats after that the height of the heel it is up to you.
Personally, the longer length for me is more versatile in that I could and would wear it to more functions both day and night. The shorter length I tend to wear for day time only.
