I struggle with the proportions of cropped pants outfits and have not yet found any maternity cropped pants, but I keep trying because I think they'd be pretty and practical in my life.

Anyway this is my attempt for today.

Navy lace extender tank
Favorite necklace with rose gold tones
Lands End Ponte ankle pants...closest I've found to fitting well and tapering the right amount. Slightly too long and not maternity.
BC rose gold wedges, fun experiment from Poshmark. I didn't know if I'd like wearing a metallic colored sandal, it seems maximal to me. These are more comfortable than I expected and lower contrast with my skin than any other shoes I have. I think I'll wear these a lot with maxi dresses this summer.

Thank you for the links, Angie! I have checked out Pea in the Pod ones with no luck so far. the fabric was unbearable scratchy. But I have not tried those Nordstrom ones. I did not see them when I was searching last week. The review makes me hopeful. I'm curious how J Crew maternity stuff would fit. May try that next. I've never had anything that fit well from them, but it may be worth a try.

The sandals aren't exactly the same ones as in the Finds, mine aren't suede. Closest I could find though.

Thank you Ledonna! I really look forward to your posts. And you know the struggle of finding petites. I kinda wish Lands End did maternity. They're not particularly stylish, but it's so nice to be able to order petites and pick the exact inseam length.

YLF! I can hardly tell you're pregnant! ( I know, so I can just see it, but I remember finding it nice to hide it for a while just to avoid the endless questions about when you are due etc) such beautiful flowers and necklace and shoes. Are you sure you don't want those ASOS ones you posted before? I still have those on the brain a bit...

Thanks Jenni! I have two pairs of rose gold shoes to enjoy for now, so no ASOS shoes for me. I still love those though. At this point I'm 17 weeks along and I don't tend to show very much for a long time. I don't know how.

Nice! I love those shoes! Have you tried Old Navy? I bought several pairs of maternity pants from them. They have a good return policy for their maternity clothes.

May I ask how far along are you?

I ask because. Mostly my feet and shoe size changed. I'm 8 months almost 34 weeks and nowat any fiventime my feet and ankles will swell. Even though i limit my salt intake. Im saying dont invest to heavily because your body and shape will change and you will grow in 9 months.

Thanks Sara! I did try Old Navy. The fit was all right but I couldn't take off the pants fast enough because they were itchy. That never happens to me so I was tempted to keep them and see if washing would fix them.

Thanks Lisa, and Ledonna, I don't know how I missed your last comment! Sorry about that. You are wise not to recommend not investing too heavily in a maternity wardrobe, because it really is for a short time and you do go through drastic body changes. This time I don't want to get too many new pieces; I did have to get some since I wore out stuff during three previous pregnancies. I'm done shopping til probably September for budget reasons.

If you happen to read this Ledonna, I recommend not purging clothes immediately after having the baby, because you're going through drastic body changes all over again, especially in the first six months.

P.s. 19 weeks now
