Many of you seem to be in the "eat everything in moderation" camp, but for those who like to limit their sugars, I thought I'd share this recipe. I tried it out this past weekend and it was delicious, though I'm used to lower carb treats and have a different expectation from them. It isn't as gooey and sticky as regular pecan squares, but it won't give you the sugar rush, either.

The original recipe probably tastes best, but rather than using pure almond flour, I took 1.25 cups from the following baking mix, inspired by Healthy Trim Mama:
1 cup oat fiber
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup golden flax meal
3 Tbs almond flour
1 Tbs xanthan gum

I also used Lily's sugar free dark chocolate chips, and substituted coconut oil in the crust.

Enjoy!
