Lovely dress - but how to make it more "club-y"? For tonight!

After feeling quite blue yesterday (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....eally-long) I woke up feeling a bit better, and then A LOT better, after reading all the wonderful, supportive, encouraging replies I'd got! So, with a more positive mindset, I went to Rokit, a vintage shop close by... And I found this dress I just fell in love with!

However... It's way more retro and over-dressed than what I'm used to, and for the indie/pop/rock club where I'm going tonight..! What do you think, is there a way I can make it work? Because, I really want to wear it tonight!

Ok, loads of pics now... is there any style you like better? Or can you think of more ideas? I'm open for lots of suggestions! (A friend called while I was taking the first pics, sorry about that!) Oh, and please imagine some make-up and slightly more fixed hair - I haven't got round to that just yet! :)

Really cute dress.
I like the black cami and the necklace- can you make it so the necklace hangs just a tad higher? Do you have black shoes? If I remember correctly, you don't wear heels, otherwise I would suggest pumps. I like the boots better than the flats. I notice that the dress pull just a tiny but across the back of your hips. If you own any shapewear undergarments you should try them and see if it will smooth that out.

I LOVE the dress, the pale iris colour is fantastic, and the tuxedo style of dress is very fashionable at the moment.

I have not been on the clubbing seen for years, but I used to love indie rock venues for a night out.

I like the dress for your night out with the boots, I think it could also be dressed down by throwing a denim jacket or boyfriend cardi over the top. Add smudgy eye make up and your out of the door.

Thanks everyone! I ended up having a fairly good night - I had a great time at first with my friends, but by the end the music was really quite bad, so I just got bored.
