I will never forget Angie's 2012 ensemble of denim shorts, cute top and hat, because it plays so well where I live in Southern California.
Her 2015 update is just as spectacular and I will use it to wear my J. Crew striped tee, J. Crew straw tote bag and Sam Edelman sandals on another day.
A few days ago, I wore my denim shorts with an H&M grey jacket with tan elbow patches, white and black striped Brooks Brothers shirt, J. Crew Panama hat and white Converse sneakers. I grabbed my new gold metallic Kate Spade zippy wallet to run errands.
I wanted to add the jacket after seeing a BirkSun solar backpack commercial on television a couple of months ago. There was a young woman in the commercial riding a bike in a jacket and denim shorts and it resonated with me.
I liked the idea of combining the two. It was comfortable and worked well on a cool day. Thank you, Angie, for your Friday Ensemble days, which always inspire me.
