Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Look ma, no more muffin top!

I took Tanya's advice about water stretchiing the ES jeans last night and I think they look/feel better. They shrunk back a tiny bit today so the effect isn't as profound as it was last night, but I guess that's a good thing--I wouldn't want them to be so poorly constructed that a little water makes them lose their shape permanently!

I'll take actual outfit pictures at some point but I need to get them hemmed first.

I'm so happy the jeans worked out for you, Maya. They fit you really well and show off your adorable figure :)

Yeah! They look great. I'm going to have to try the water trick sometime too!

I was trying on some premium denim today and liked the J Brand 14" mid-rise cigarette leg jeans - they have a comfy 9" rise! Not sure if you have tried these on yet but just wanted to add one more to your list.

Terrific, what a difference just that little bit of stretch did for the jeans, they fit great! I forgot- what brand are they??

Jean, the brand is Earnest Sewn and the style is Zazo.

Thanks for the validation everyone!

Shana, I did have a look at the J Brand cigarettes but I would need to know the back rise to be sure. I have a bunch of styles filed away in my noodle for future reference. 7FAM also has a high rise straight leg but it isn't on sale anywhere yet. I would love to get my mitts on the high waist Roxannes though. They are skinny but not as skinny as my current pair of 10" pegleg jeans.
