Is this top too long. I wouldn't wear it with the skirt. The second picture is with the jeans I have on. The top is a small and it is pretty roomy.

I think the length would probably be fine with slim pants and if you were to wear a slim fit skirt too. I agree that it's not as good with the flared skirt.

It looks good. If you're someplace with a Macy's check there also. They have a very similar top. I was walking through our mall this afternoon and saw it. It may be less $.

I personally prefer tops either longer tunic length or shorter. Although if you wore the top with light bottoms it would work. Basically I'm opposed to tops that cut your body in half.

It is hard to tell the fit but the lace is beautiful. It may be a little too long unless worn with some shade of white on a slim bottom ( skinnies or pencil skirt.)

I love it on you!!! I think the length is flattering with slim skirt, skinnies or another slim pant.

I'm with Cocolion, I like my tops longer or shorter. In-between lengths seem to cut a lot of women in the middle. This length looks really good for you!

You know I love this top!
I think the length woks with slim pants, not so much with the flared skirt.
With slim pants I don't think it limits you to white or light only - I think it would be stunning over a black tank and black skinnies. I tried it over the b/w patterned Sloan pants and liked the look too.
I will be waiting for Wednesday as well...

Did you try in an XS? It looks a smidge too boxy. I like it with the pants . Might look good with a tube skirt...I can't remember if you have one.

When I go back on We'd I will see if the have an extra small. I think this top could be extremely versatile.

Hi Debbie,

I have this top and love it! I purchased the petite because the regular size hit me lower than I thought flattering. On me, the petite hit slightly above my crotch. The regular size hit at my thigh.

For reference, I'm about 5'4" with short legs and a long waist.

I was thinking the same thing as greycat6--wondering if there's a petite. Or the XS might be a tad shorter. I think a little bit shorter would be more flattering, or it may be the overall fit that I'm seeing. Just seems a little too much top for you, though it's really gorgeous on you otherwise, and I want it to work for you!

Also, what I'm seeing may be a result of camera angle. But if you can try a little smaller or shorter one, it's worth comparing for sure.

Such a beautiful top - but I don't think that the length is a very good one on you - its not long enough to be a tunic, but not short enough to wear as a regular top - and so it appears to cut you right in half. I'd try either a petite, or move on to something better!

I like the lace but the cut and length seem a bit off. Agree with trying petite.
For some reason the boxiness of it including the shoulder line and sleeves isn't so great, not bad but not special. The length may contribute to that.

It's a lovely top and it suits you, but it is just a little long and wide for a small woman. If it finished higher on your hips it would look more flattering and lengthen the leg line. Try and get the petite version, it will fit better in width and length, and you should be on to a winner.
