Let's see your knotted looks!

I like to knot button downs or draped cardigans over dresses/skirts. It suits my casual style and makes those tops more versatile.

Sometimes I'll actually knot the ends, but most of the time I just take my clear elastic hair band and hold the ends together that way (no knot = less bulk).

Hmmm...my knotting seems to happen in spring and summer. Anyone knot in the fall/winter?

I just tried a knotted button down over today's outfit instead of my sweater. I'm not sure, but I think I like it. I never knotted in the waist before, although I'm all for defining my waist. Wonder what's up with that?

@Jonesy - Ooohhh, two FAB examples! I like the proportions of the knotted button down with the (midi?) dress. I also like how chic the second knotted top under the longer cardigan/blazer. Thanks for posting your pics!

Not a look I wear often, here is the only time I have worn it in the past couple years :} The semi-tuck or full tuck definitely fits my style better.

AJ, I thought of you right away when I read the post! Perfectly playful for your style. I tend to think of this style of knotting as a specifically spring/summer thing.
