So after my angst over not wearing much more than loungewear yesterday I got to doing something about it. I made some choices of things that are fine to run errands, etc, but not really up to snuff for actual outings. Either they are getting little shabby or the fit is just a bit off, or they don't really express me as I am right now. I am deeming them casually demoted to pre-lounge land Ha!
Needless to say, I won't have any anxiety about wear and tear on said items since they are on their way down And I also came to the conclusion that they won't be going with me back to Tahoe for next summer, so I may as well wear what's left of 'em! Cat hair and washer wear be damned!
This helps with my dilemma and also helps me to slowly purge, which I'm pretty bad at admittedly. Next, I just have to make the effort to wear some of my better clothes when I do have an outing coming up. Or, make up some excuses for outings!
Blue dress too short and fading - demotion!
Red tank, too big across chest, fading - demotion!
White linen skirt big all over and too long - demotion!
Ha - that feels good I may have to seek out further under performers
