Leggings revamped - YouLookFab Forum

I have never been much of a leggings person. But I decided to trial this tunic that I purchased 7 years ago and loved at the time. I used to wear it with bootleg trousers mostly!

I trialed it with sandal boots, no belt and my pendant from Secret Santa. This is what I wore.

I then tried it with a belt and black pointy pumps.

And finally with my new green tango shoes and a vintage belt I thrifted about 4 years ago. The second pic has close ups of the sandals and the belt detail.

Black never photographs well. The tunic is very sheer so I am wearing a slip under. My slip is quite boobalicious so I also added a tank- I think fashions did have more cleavage back around 2007!

As usual my pics are not the best quality but I hope you get the idea.

I love your tunic with the leggings. I like it best in the third photo with no belt. There are lots of sheer garments right now, so the tunic seems on trend.

Fab look. I prefer no belt and love the cognac sandal. Very modern. It was actually cool enough here yesterday for me to wear leggings and a tunic too. Felt great:)

I think the belt dates it - although this is how I used to wear it. As a short waisted person I can struggle with belts as many of us have discussed on the forum previously. I wish I had some black caged booties with a heel as they would be perfect but I don't and my footwear budget is going into flats or very low heels this year.

I love the green sandals and have worn them twice, once with jeans and once with trousers. I don't think they are quite right with the tunic...okay...but better with other things.

The tango shoes and belt are so pretty. I think I would like them better with a skirt or dress sans leggings. Or with jeans or trousers, as you wore them other times.

This is a great tunic to wear with leggings. I like the look on you! My favorite is the one you wore, but I also like the other two. I think they'd be fun to wear for a casual evening out. I like your hair--such a great cut, and I love the casual chic look, not too "done."
