I got some cropped leggings! YAY! But i dunno anything! Will cute gray sneakers go with them? And how long should the top be? I'm so confused. I have never ever worn leggings out in public. HELP ME!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Hi Car!

Angie says to think of legginsg as an accessory, rather than pants. So, whatever you wear with your leggings should be long enough that you would wear it on it's own- a long tunic or shorter dress. It should come to mid-thigh at least. At your age, cute gray sneakers would go fine. Post a pic when you get an outfit together!

Car I went shopping recently with a 10 year old girl and she tried on a pair of black leggings with a long black and white plaid shirt dress and it looked really adorable. Good luck

That's ok, Car. People of all sizes and shapes can wear leggings, given the appropriate tops! Just keep your bottom covered and you should be ok

Car, I'm not skinny either and I wear leggings. Just make sure your top is long enough to cover your bottom. If you wear dresses then you can wear your leggings underneath!

Car, I am on a slow computer and can't find the link, but search around for Angie's leggings post where she has collated pics of several people styling leggings in a variety of ways. It was quite the eye-opener.
