Leaving in 2 hours, red or orange?

Start of another weekend softball tournament palooza. Which shoes should I wear to the ballgame tonight? Perforated red cowgirl boots or orange espadrille flats?

Are tunics just wrong for me?

I like the red shoes! I think the tunic looks lovely. I'd probably roll the shorts up one roll, so that they are a little shorter and extend your leg line. For whatever reason, long tunics over shorter shorts just looks super lovely to my eye lately, and you have a gorgeous figure to show off that look.

Well Angie is in favor of knee length shorts for us older gals and these rise to mid thigh when I sit, so I don't think I want to make them any shorter.

I think if you want to wear the shorts a bit shorter, you should go for it For myself, I've decided there are certain things I am going wear, age or no (sorry, Angie!). Life is too short.

Anyhow -- I like both footwear options. They have different vibes, though. The orange espadrilles read more boho and the cowboy boots read artsy/funky. Being a boot girl, I'd pick the boots! But -- if it's a long tournament thing, I'd go for whatever is most comfy.

@cciele - I have decided that leg/ankle gaps on boots/booties are not going to be a deal breaker for me if I luv the shoes. : )

AJ, I think that this tunic would look great with narrower bottoms. Clams, perhaps? I love either shoe. Have fun!

Which did you wear? You could try that tunic with tapered clams or capri-length leggings. How would it look to belt this top? That would bring the length up just a hair. I really like it on you and don't think you should give up on it! I haven't found a tunic that looks good on me yet. Part of it has to do with having a long torso, and part of it is skinny leg syndrome. Tunics hit me where my legs are very skinny and it doesn't look good. :/
