I would absolutely go for it. It's a classic, you can wear it all winter, it works for many occasions (Moderate: worn with opaque tights, loafers, tee and long cardigan; Out and about: with non black knee high boots and chunky sweaters; Party: with pumps and knit top or loose blouse...).
yes, yes, yes - last year I debated about a leather skirt - not mini an a-line knee length. I wasn't sure about it also asked the board for help because I also don't have what I would define as a rocker or hard edge style. They told me go for it. When I bought it I commited to wearing it for 6 weeks in a row differently. That skirt has become a huge workhorse in my closet and I am now on the lookout to add a pencil skirt if I can find the right one.
The skirt you ordered looks cute. I'm always hesitant to wear an a-line because I'm not sure how it will look on me, so I'm very curious to see the final outfit on you!
Glad to hear you ordered it, Maneera. I think it will be great on you! So many styling options, too. I'm also interested in your experience with A line. I had a leather pencil years ago and it quickly bagged out in the bum after too much sitting, something I don't think will happen with A line.
Chiming in late, but YES! Can't wait to see the skirt on you. (I picked up a pair of faux leather leggings last year that I was on the fence about and ended up wearing them to death and loving them.)
I love a classic leather skirt! I prefer leather mixed with more traditional pieces. Leather is edgy and a little sexy so to pair a leather skirt with a slightly over-sized sweater is a cool and minimal way to rock the look. http://files.mom.me/photos/201.....848218.jpg
