Leather leggings or not???

Just wondering if any of you very stylish ladys on here wear real leather trousers or leggings thinking of getting a pair but being over 40 am i being silly!!

I wear leather trousers that have a pretty skinny fit, but enough give to prevent them from being leggings.

Not real leather, but I have several pair of faux leather pants and leggings, and wear them often in the winter. They are a classic in my mind, and are ageless as long as the fit is right and they are styled in a sophisticated way.

p.s. and I'm a lot older than you

Sounds like a good option to go for, but finding a pair might prove difficult.. sorry to be cheeky but would you have a modeling picture of them... were are yours from.. thank you for your reply by the way.

I'm 46 and I freaking love mine! They're leather on the front and regular leggings material (cotton or rayon or something, I forget) on the back and they make me feel so awesome! I don't wear them as much this year since we moved, and i really should because YOLO. Mine came from Nordstrom a few years ago, so I don't know where to send you for a similar pair. I also have two pairs of faux suede leggings that I love, both came from yoox but other dabbers turned up quite a few options in some recent discussion.

I do wear them with longer length tops (like mid thigh) though, because I haven't been comfortable with wearing "leggings as pants" since 20+ years ago LOL

I could imagine that I would feel like Super Woman in leather leggings. I don't own a pair due to finances.

I have a pair of faux ones but thought i was to old for them and give them away i have looked at a pair of real ones on line and they are not overly expensive would be great to see some of you ladies modeling yours for styling tips..

I have a pair of skinnies from Anthro that are very nice faux-leather in front and ponte on the back. I'm quite a bit over 40 and am not skinny, but with the right styling, I think they can work great, even on me.

I don't think I've ever snapped a pic of myself wearing them - maybe the others have? What are you most concerned about ? Just make sure your crotch-point (sorry to be so blunt, but..) and bum are totally covered by your top/jacket/sweater/tunic. Wear them with flat boots (heels can look a bit, um, there is no nice word for this ) too.

I wear faux leather leggings from Express (with a long tunic/short dress) and I am well over 40.

Try some on and see if they work with your style.
