Leather jacket part 2

When I took the leather jacket that I got a NAS back, I asked if they had anything similar in a shorter length. They didn't but the customer service lady offered to track down a smaller size. How could I say no? ;) But I didn't get my hopes up for the fit though. Here it is:

I also came across this one at ardenb and decided to give it a try despite the gathered shoulders.

What do you think? Are either of these keepers? (9-10 keeper) Or should I keep looking?

Patience, I like the fit of the smaller jacket much better than the original one. I don't know if I'm qualified to give a rating, but I'd rate it a 9. I don't particularly like the gathering at the shoulders of the ArdenB jacket. I'd give that one a 7.

You are joking. Is that really the same NAS biker jacket one size smaller? It gets a 10. KILLER. The Arden B jacket pales in comparison.

Hooray! OMG--Patience, I love LOVE the NAS biker jacket on you! I was keeping my fingers crossed that you would try the smaller size, hee hee. I'm so happy for you! This one IS much better than the larger one. Definitely a keeper! Amazing. Is there any score higher than 10? :D

Wow Patience! The NAS jacket is incredible on you! Absolutely perfect! I completely agree with Angie on it being a perfect ten. Please do keep it!

You look like a rock star in that NAS jacket! I have to double check if that's you who's in the picture. :D I give it a perfect 10 as well.

(A smile is starting to creep across my face.) My main question is can you see my shoulders well enough in the pictures? When I first tried it on and took the pictures I was in a bit of a hurry and I thought the shoulders were too snug. Then later I saw the pictures and that got me rethinking. I tried it on again just now and I think that while snug there's no pulling at the shoulders. I can zip it fine but there's no room for any thick layers which is okay.

NAS for sure - super sexy! For the shoulders - can you raise your arms above your head without it feeling really constricting? I really hope you can because the jacket is amazing on you. Ixnay on the Arden B one.

Good point Sihaya. I will try it before I go to bed.

I also wanted to give credit to the customer service woman who found this jacket for me. When I asked her about a jacket with a similar style she was the one who came up with the idea of trying a smaller size. I didn't think there was one to be found, but she printed a list of stores that supposedly had it and started calling each number, one by one, doubtful herself that any of the stores would actually have it. The first few stores didn't have it. Amazing. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced (10+).

I give the NAS a 20!!!

(and that wasn't a typo)

Leather does stretch. I have strong shoulder line and I have learned through experience to always buy the one that is snug in the shoulders - because it does indeed stretch.

Only place it doesn't really stretch is at the waistband if there is one - but shoulders will definetly stretch.
