latest red accessory

I feel like I am being a bit spammy with posts this weekend - sorry!! (I still have a heap of suit pictures I want to post later too if thats ok). Being alone in this house is starting to drive me stir crazy. Luckily I have some friends coming over later this afternoon and we're going on a nice long walk up a hill!

Anyway I can't help myself - had to share pics of my latest red accessory!!!

I'm about to go for a spin now. I need to master the art of going up gears - grrrrr!!!

The bike and the biker look great. And from what I can see, bikes are definitely en vogue. :-) Once you master the gears, you could try learning to pedal in heels. ;-)

Nice picture! Great outfit, and I like the whole color scheme :) I know nothing about bikes, but I always assumed that you did, since you frequently mention bike rides. Enjoy!

Tam i'm not at all suprised you used colour to choose your bike, that's how i chose mine! Much to the salesmans disgust- he's there telling me all about gears and pedals and gel seats and i go i want that one cause i like the colour! hey a girls got to choose a bike that will go with her outfits! yours looks great i hope you enjoy it x

Hehe thanks Danja!! I can barely walk in heels (and hardly own any!) so cannot imagine myself riding in them anytime soon, but never say never!!!

Marianne I know nothing about pushbikes, my other bike is a Vespa scooter. Mind you not that I know too much about them either, I just ride it!!

Loulou I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! After deciding between road bike vs comfort bike vs hybrid & mens vs womens converted I was all worn out - no more decisions!!! What colour did you get??

Rather girly i'm afraid pinks and purples and silver! My other half despairs at my decision making, my final desicion for my car came down to the colour! x

Edit that sounds really shallow! what i mean is my BF had narrowed them down from his mechnic point of view i then narrowed it down via comfort and drive so was left with 3 equal choices i then used colour to choose the car x

Haha LouLou that sounds like a very sound decision-making process!! All other things being equal, car colour is very important. Totally changes the "character" of a car!!

Finally someone who 'gets' my logic heheheh!

That's a gorgeous bike Tam! I do not know anything about bikes, but it certainly looks good. Your outfit is great as well.

Glad you all like it!!! My dupa (I love the way we are all copying that word now) still hasn't recovered from my tiny 8km ride the other day but I am still tempted to take it out for a little spin today anyway :)

Love it! Have been toying with buying bikes here as well. Just mind the cars and you'll be great.

Awesome Tam and you look great. Good for you for making a push (so to speak) for the outdoors. You should try swapping out your regular bike seat for a more comfortable one. You should ask them what they have designed specifically for women.

That is the kind of accessory I need!

Fabulous! That's how you rock wearing gear :0). What have you called your new red accessory,Tam?

Chris and rena I highly recommend it. I have been meaning to do it for ages and am so glad I finally took the plunge!

Sihaya thanks for the tip of seats....it is a mens frame they converted to a ladies bike by changing the seat and handlebars...is that the same thing. DO you wear proper bike pants and does it make a big difference??

Angie thanks for the compliment! I am thinking of ordering some more threadless tees for casual summer days ahead. Bike doesn't have a name yet....hmmm. Vespa Betty was named first. Car ended up being called BamBam because of the numberplate (B8BM) which made a kind of Flintstones theme. Would calling the bike Fred be too cheezy? :)

Love your new red accessory! After a long hiatus, I have recently gotten back into biking. I admit that I bought my mountain bike based on its colors too - tealish green & purple!
