Late entry for April outfits

Hi all! I've been on and off the internet lately due to modem problems and the two children I'm supposed to devote my time to =) Anyway, I'm just getting around to posting my April outfits.

Specific feed back would be appreciated for 04-17...what do you think of the leggings?

Like the 4/17 look - it seems like a risk compared to the others? But a good outcome. Fun to play with the trend.
I like how you use jewelry to accessorize in general - great turquoise necklaces!

My only suggestion would be a different shoe for the last outfit - the white cardi/light turq. skirt. The brown flat seems too heavy and draws my eye down to feet instead of looking at the great outfit. Hope you don't mind the input on that.

You have so many inspirational photos. I like how you wear your graphic tees and color combos like the green and lavendar are unexpected and fun.
I think 4-17's leggings outfit works for you as a mom-on-the-go, but my eye is just beginning to adjust to this look and I think I like the leggings best with a short dress/long tunic. Thank you for posting your outfits. I always learn something new from you.

Dani - love your outfits as usual and the colors you use so effectively. The graphic tees add a wonderful touch to your overall style. The leggings look good. Thank you for posting these pictures. I think yellow is now officially my favourite colour on you!! That's why 04-20 is my favourite from this series (to be fair: it was hard to choose, you looked so stylish every day!). The graphic tee with the white jeans and the denim jacket are fantastic Dani. And your hair is beautiful too.

I love the colour of that Boden skirt on you as well, it looks great paired with the white tops and the turquoise necklace. Have you tried it with lighter shoes too? I bet yellow would look super;-)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Things are still pretty much the same for me and my family but we are hanging in there! I'm touched that you have missed the photos! I miss being around here as much!

I appreciate the responses to the leggings under a skirt. I wasn't sure about it but then decided to wear it out of the house I'm still looking for some dresses to go over them.

Thanks for the comments about the shoes with the blue skirt...I knew it wasn't the best choice but I wasn't sure what else would work and I felt like I had been living in my pewter flats. I will have to look into the Me Toos that Angie blogged about today (perfect timing, of course).

My eye went right to the leggings-with-skirt look. LOVE! I also love the white watch and agree that yellow is a great color on you. The red cardigan with turquoise necklace also blew me away. That shade of red is gorgeous.

Was wondering if you've tried ever a belt over the cardi's at your natural waist? I especially think a skinny brown, white or turquoise belt would really complete some of your outfits! Just another trend for you to try...take a look at the girls over at academichic for inspiration.

I'm inspired by all the yellow you've been wearing, as it's a color I've tended to avoid as a pale girl myself and am trying to work more yellow into my wardrobe now.
