What incredible thrift finds. Love the skirts. As someone on the lookout for cute summer skirts at thrift stores (and finding nada) I am in awe. Coat is so happy and cute on you. I know this will make me fit in a thrift stop today- wish me luck.

asha, yes, when i posted that outfit (i had qualms on the day i wore it!), that seemed to be the consensus! i will be trying an unbuttoned version of this outfit soon, i think, it seems to work for the most part...

sinead, it seems so silly doesn't it? i am grateful for the body i've got, i just think i need to get a little more fit

Those are great thrifting finds! I'm envious. I love thrifting too ... its definitely the thrill of a great find. Funny thing is that I'm overwhelmed shopping in Macy's but love to look through random racks at Goodwill or TJMaxx.

cricket, i know what you mean - department stores can be so overwhelming for me too! i'm not sure why that is...

san, what a lovely compliment! and here i thought i was a texture novice. i am still trying very hard to incorporate it better in my outfits.

kristen, i had to google "verklempt" to understand what you meant! but isn't that little label just darling? i am very excited to wear all the new things!

brianna, i was iffy about it myself and thought it looked a little off, but when i posed it to other YLFers the consensus seemed to be that it looked good. i plan to try it again, but with a different cardi, and perhaps with a dress that has a proper waist belt instead of one that high.
