Last post: gave up on crops, bought these instead, and WIW 5/4

I found these Mother Skinny Not Skinny jeans at the Rack for a billion percent off. I brought them home thinking I might return them, but I kinda love them. The patchwork etc is all digitally printed on, although they are real denim, NOT sweatpants like the Rag & Bone pajama pants.

So the length - I'm showing them full length (frayed hems) and tucked under to some kind of croppier length. I kind of like both ways. Rolling looks dumb because the inside is white. So tack them up with fashion tape when I want them cropped? Or chop? Or hem?

All thoughts welcome, including hatred of this look.

Bonus WIW: Red Joie coat from the Rack from LAST YEAR - I just found this in the closet. It was only $29! And R2D2 bag for Star Wars Day. DS said I look like I work for Delta.

I kinda love it too. I'd chop rather than hem as more in keeping with the patchwork, although they look great in #2.

Yes to the fake jeans - and chop them. They look really good at the shorter length. No comment on the Delta look- lol. DH works for Air Canada and I look at red, white and blue (the colour of every airline , apparently) every day of my life . But that purse is crazy cute.

Lisa, a colorful coat is hard! I don't switch coats for style so this is going to clash with everything, fab red though it is. Sigh.

Fun jeans! Another vote to chop(the length you've got here is actually quite good, similar proportions to how the length "should" be on the taller model). You can leave the hem unfinished to get the same effect as the original.

Love the pants, and agree with the suggestions to chop them. I find Red quite versatile, why do you find it hard?

What? I said nothing about the coat. I love a good coloured coat, and I'm the coat nut who has one for every outfit. If it clashes with everything ( including the oil slick hair colour?) - then you have your answer. For $29 - who cares? And if you just found it...again, it can't have been your favourite thing . I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this

I'm just saying - the Delta look. I love clashing.

The jeans are cute! I would cut them off--I like how they look on your leg in 2-3. The second outfit is great. You do Delta proud. The bag makes the outfit, of course.

Crop the fabulous jeans! Although I always vote for releasing the ankles. I love the patchwork, would buy those in a second. They look comfy too, which I long for. All the pants in my closet are so fitted.

And I love the coat! When you have a chance, could I have another coffee? And a pillow, please?

Hot dang, YES on the jeans, AG! My vote also goes to cropping them, I agree with Joy that it's more in keeping with the trend. I can only aspire to a tiny bit of Angie's knowledge, but from what I've learned here, I'd say that ankle baring adds structure to the look. Maybe cut them off and hand them over to your DS to channel some of his teenage angst into "destroying" the hem?

And your coat and bag are just fab. I love that coat on you--cut, colour, the whole package--and so glad you rediscovered it. I'm guessing the airline look is fallout from the shape of the purse: I honestly wouldn't have made that connection had you not mentioned it, and even then it's not the first thing I think of.
