pics 1 - 6: Ted Baker ponte knit blazer - wondering if this is not doing my pear shape any favors? Seems like my hips looked smaller in the dressing room lol.

pics 7 - 8: You know I can't resist an off-white tunic. This is Vince. Not sure about the grinning.

Okay, I'll be first. I wonder if you've tried the jacket with a different top under it? The white top is such high contrast that it might be changing the way it looks in regards to what it emphasizes. It is a lovely jacket but I'm on the fence on it. I love that white tunic however and think it is GREAT for you!

I was just going to say - pear? WHAT pear? I see a gorgeous hourglass!! I love the jacket.

I like the top a lot, too. I think the grin can be accommodated with a different cami (if necessary) or just another way of wearing it - maybe a semi tuck?

I, too, see hourglass. If you are indeed a pear, the jacket does an amazing job of evening out your shoulder line and is an absolute keeper! I love the white blouse, too.

Curvy, not bottom heavy, is the view I get in the jacket. I think it's a great fit. The tunic is floaty, modern and serene, and I think "grinning" is more pronounced in photos, particularly when you use the flash.

I love both pieces on you! I think the light top extending past the jacket hem is throwing you off. And from the back it's covering up your cute booty! OT-I really like your hairstyle. I'm off to the salon in a few:). (really, have an appt.)

I vote keep both pieces. As far as the jacket, it is incredibly flattering. I understand your concern about the backview, but I wonder if the contrast in the blouse color plus the position of the jeans pockets might be the culprits.
