Lands' End quality

How many of you shop at Lands' End? I haven't shopped there in many moons, but I ordered a few sweaters from there this month, and all look to be of very good quality. Of course, only time will tell how well they will wear and how long they will last, but my initial impression is quite favorable.

I shop there sometimes, for me and for my daughter. Never got sweaters; I've gotten puffer coats, snow bibs, boots, fleece, underwear, socks... Everything is very well made. I've washed most items many times (even the puffer coat--I washed it at home) and everything has kept its shape, color, and texture (other than the fleece, which gets that fuzzy fleece air eventually). I'd be curious as to how their sweaters hold up! They have really tried to vamp up their offerings in the last few years, especially with the sweaters and wool coats.

We've mostly bought outerwear for the kids, and it has held up very well.

I've only bought a puffer and a canvas tote...very happy with both! Although the puffer ran a bit large

In my experience, their quality is quite good, esp. for the price. I don't buy more from them because the way they cut or fit their clothes tends to look frumpy on me. But their flannel sheets look just fine!

I've shopped there a bit. Some of their pieces are great, others quite thin, but all have held up well.

Most of what I've purchased from them is good quality. I have had a few duds which I returned. Similar to LL Bean they will honor returns at any time for any reason so they must think the quality is good enough for that. I buy more for the kids than for me, but have good luck with outerwear, swimwear and sweaters for me.

I buy mainly for my mother and daughter there. The quality for price tends to be good. I'm often sized out and even if I am not, the clothes can look frumpy on me. But I've had a few items over the years that have worked.

My LE stuff has never worn out, lol. I'm wearing pants from 3 years ago. They are never gonna die, I think. My son finally wore a hole in one of his pants, but seriously, he wore them hard every single week for a year. I'm sad I'm starting to be sized out at LE.

Thanks, everyone. I'll let you know how the sweaters hold up. I get so tired of inferior quality from stores like Macy's and Talbots that you think would be better.

I can only testify to their swimsuits: cast bloody iron!! I bought several on sale postpartum with my 2nd daughter. We had joined a pool club & I wanted styles for easy infant nursing breaks. One was an ugly pink but I figured the pool chlorine would kill it fast enough to not matter much. Oh no! Practically had to drive a stake thru it's heart to get rid of it!

I used to shop at Landsend all the time. I was very happy with their quality. In fact, I never had a problem ever.

I stopped shopping there because their clothes were so big in the waist area that I felt frumpy wearing them.

Their puffer coat quality is consistantly is EXCELLENT. Their t-shirts are a hit and miss. Sometimes fab, sometimes not so fab.

Thanks. It's a relief to know they have such a good return policy, and good quality overall. I like that a petite smell fits me! There's something weird about L.L. Bean's sizing for my body.

i have a few sweaters and sweatshirts from them and they wash and wear well....

Their coats and all outerwear in general (hats, gloves, scarves) are excellent quality. they are extremely popular in my part of the country for this (and are actually headquartered here in Wisconsins, so yeah, they get our winters).

I have had a lot more hit or miss with tees there. Many have not held color or gotten holes quickly.

However, their men's tees are excellent. My husband lives in them.
